My American Girl House

This is my American girl house. It is made out of bookcases in my room. I just put random things inside; like a plastic container for a table, tissue boxes for a desk and a toilet, and some other basics. I also used fabric for the back, which was easy to apply with spray adhesive. I like to change the rooms around. It is very easy to adjust the shelves for height. This a simple and inexpensive way to get the dream doll house you always wanted.

Make your own doll shoes

Today I'm going to show you how to create your own AG size doll shoes with duct tape and a few other basic supplies. This is a fairly simple craft that takes about 10 min.

To start you will need the following: duct tape, aluminum foil, craft foam, scissors, and a doll shoe to trace.

First you will trace a doll shoe on a piece of foam. Then, cut it out.

Next you will take some foil and put it on the toe tip of the cut outs. Then wrap the foil from the bottom over to the top, molding the foil over the toe area, with space for the doll's toes.

 

Take a piece of duct tape and wrap it over the mold of the foil. The tape will not be smooth, so put a clean strip of duct tape over again gently.

Then fold over about 2/3 of tape and wrap it around the back of the foam cut out.

 It should look a little something like this:

The last step  is to take a piece of duct tape and put it on the bottom.

So that's how you make AG doll shoes out of duct tape. Hope you enjoyed the shoe craft!

made in my closet. You can use blankets as a bed, and whatever small toys you would like to use. So that's an idea to create your own doll bed easily and no cost!
